City Museum

Whatever remains of the historical centers and displays are center around archeological pieces or gathering of works of art from ious periods. This gallery shows the day to day life of Quito, the historical backdrop of its tenants, uncovering the substantially wealthier history that the ancient rarities or craftsmanship pieces secluded from their specific situation. The Museum is situated in what was the Hospital San Juan de Dios over 30 years prior. In the time of Conquest was the "Genuine Hospital de la Misericordia de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo", established in 1565 by the request of King Philip II of Spain.
