Bahia de Caraquez, formally known as San Antonio de Caraquez and based under the name of Villa de San Antonio de los angeles Bahía de vehicleáquez or truely regarded nowadays as Bahía, formerly referred to as Bahía de los Caras at some point of the period of the Spanish conquest, is a coastal metropolis belonging to the Sucre county, inside the Ecuadorian province of Manabi. The city is positioned on a sandy peninsula at the united states of america's western coast on the mouth of the Río Chone and has widespread tourism infrastructure that positions it as the main regional town.
It has seen tremendous development during the last 15 to twenty years, mainly because it has become a vacation vacation spot for people from Quito and Guayaquil.
