About Tranbjerg
Tranbjerg J is a suburb of Aarhus in Denmark. "J" is for Jutland to distinguish this vicinity from a similarly named area on Zealand, and isn't used in each day parlance. Tranbjerg changed into previously a small rural village but is now a suburb of Aarhus about 10 kilometers south of the town center. Tranbjerg Church is an ordinary old Danish village church, constructed in the later part of the 1100s, but with several later changes and additions. It is dedicated to Saint Ursula and the 11 thousand handmaidens. In 1737, King Christian VI gave constitution to the Tranbjerg parish for the general public school of Tranbjerg Skole.
The faculty became placed right next to the church, but more recent and larger schoolbuildings have been erected some place else in the 1970s. In 2013, Tranbjerg Skole and Gronlokkeskolen - another local public college - merged to shape the Tranbjergskolen public faculty. Tranbjerg has a extraordinarily extant center called Center Syd. It evolved inside the later part of the 1800s, after Tranbjerg trainstation was built in 1884. The trainstation transformed the village to a railway metropolis, attracting enterprise and improving the trade alternatives for local farmers. Tranbjerg Kro become constructed in 1885.
