About Soeborg
Soborg is a parish and small community situated some km south of Gilleleje in Gribskov Municipality, North Zealand, a few 40 km north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It takes its name after Soborg Castle, which turned into destroyed at some stage in the Count's Feud and is now left as a damage.
The metropolis become a marketplace town within the Middle Ages and remained the main metropolis of Holbo Herred until the start of the 19th century. Today it best has a populace of 241. Soborg Church dates from the twelfth century. Soborg Lake to the north of the metropolis changed into drained in the nineteenth century. Little is thought about the early records of Soborg Castle.
