Sankt Klemens

Sankt Klemens is a satellite city for Odense on Funen with 3,185 population, positioned 7 km south of Odense metropolis center and 3 km east of Bellinge. The city belongs to the municipality of Odense and is located within the Region of Southern Denmark. Sankt Klemens belongs to Stenlose Sogn, and Stenløse Church is located within the city, extra specifically in the vintage village Stenlose.

Stenlose is the northeastern part of Stenlose Sogn, where Odense has grown beyond the parish boundary. 1 km of open land and wooded area separates this district in Odense from Sankt Klemens. Stenlose is cited first time 1277 to 86 within the shape Stenlosae. The lead is the noun stone, which refers to the thick layer of seed stone deposited at Odense A. The aftermath is loose, that means meadow or pasture. Stenløse were given a station at Odense-Norre Broby-Faaborg Railway. St. Clement's station turned into designed by means of architect Emanuel Monberg. The station was located half km west of Stenlose. Since there has been already a Stenlose Station on the Frederikssund Line, the station turned into named after Stenlose Church, which turned into dedicated to St. Clement.
