Sabro

Sabro is a suburb of Aarhus in Denmark. Its population is two,807. It is located inside the west of Aarhus Municipality, about thirteen kilometres from central Aarhus. Sabro has a sports activities club, soccer fields, a gymnasium, grocery shops, hotels, a church, undertaking centres, a dentist, a health care center, a library and a public day college, Sabro Korsvejskolen. Sabro became at first one of the smaller villages within the area, with a few houses and farms south and west of Sabro Church. After the street between Aarhus and Viborg was constructed via the location around 1890, a small agreement developed at the crossroads approximately 1 kilometre from the unique village.

In the mid-20th century the sogn councils of Borum-Lyngby, Lading and Sabro-Farup determined to make this the location of a critical school, Sabro Korsvejskolen, which became dedicated in 1964. In the Nineteen Seventies and Nineteen Eighties the crossroads agreement and the unique village merged, as a part of a robust city increase which has seeing that persevered eastwards, covering former agricultural land inside the route of the neighbouring village of Mundelstrup.
