About Rebild National Park
Rebild National Park is a covered vicinity located in Rebild municipality in Region Nordjylland in Denmark. The park incorporates a hilly heathland south of the small metropolis of Rebild, located within the geographic area of the Himmerland on the peninsula of Jutland. The woodland of Rold Skov surrounds the hills on three facets, but the heathland is to be covered in its herbal kingdom. The Rebild Festival is held within the country wide park every four July. Rebild National Park is not protected within the Danish National Park legal guidelines of 2007, but the heath remains to be included and it is able to use the name National Park nonetheless.
The park is one in every of two authentic country wide parks in Denmark, the opposite one being 'National Park Dybbol Skanser' from 1924, now called 'Historiecenter Dybbol Banke' English: Dybbøl Banke Museum and History Centre. Rebild Bakker homes a number of museums. The heaths of Rebild Hills Danish: Rebild Bakker was formerly owned and used by the local peasants as pastures for their livestock, but it was bought up inside the year 1911 and offered as a present to the nation of Denmark, to be administered on certain conditions prerequisites.
