About Padborg
Padborg is a Danish border metropolis in South Jutland with four,361 inhabitants, positioned 6 km north of the Flensburg district of Harreslev in Germany, 5 km southwest of Kruså and 26 km south of Aabenraa. The town belongs to the municipality of Aabenraa and is placed inside the Region of Southern Denmark. Bov and Frøslev are unique villages which have grown together with Padborg. They have both preserved their old lodge. Bov Kro became the royal privileged street bridge in 1566, but burned down in 1847.
It resurrected in 1849, while it moved into the parish's old reliable house, which dates from 1779. Froslev Kro dates from 1749. The poet Karsten Thomsen ran the resort in the past due 1800s. Padborg turned into a railway station on the track between Flensburg and Vojens, which was opened on October 1, 1864. The station was next to the medieval main road connection Haervejen, but Padborg become only a mill and a hiking house between Froslev 1 km to the west and Bov 3 km closer to nerd. In 1901, Padborg Station became the junction, as the longitudinal tune right here were given sideways to Sonderborg.
