The New Little Belt Bridge is a suspension bridge that crosses the Little Belt strait among Jutland and the island of Funen in Denmark. The bridge is 1700 metres lengthy, the principle span is 600 metres, the pylons attaining a peak of 120 metres, and the most clearance from the ocean is forty four metres. The New Little Belt Bridge became built from 1965 to 1970 and was opened by using King Frederik IX on 21 October 1970.
The bridge become built to relieve congestion on the Old Little Belt Bridge due to the growing vehicle visitors between Jutland and Funen. It is a motorway on the E20 bridge with 3-lane carriageways instead of the unmarried lanes of the antique bridge. The bridge has heating in the street deck, so it can be stored free of ice and snow in wintry weather. Passing over Little Belt Bridge is toll-loose. The new Little Belt Bridge is seen at 0:12:eleven in The Olsen Gang in Jutland, marking the Olsen Gang's arrival to Jutland.
