About Marselisborg Palace
Marselisborg Palace is a royal residence of the Danish Royal Family in Aarhus. It has been the late spring habitation of Queen Margrethe II since 1967. There is a Palace Park in association with the Palace itself and outside the grounds, extending to the shoreline of the Bay of Aarhus is another huge stop Mindeparken, well known with the natives of Aarhus for recreational exercises in the hotter long stretches of the year. Only south of Marselisborg Palace is Aarhus Forestry Botanical Garden and a Deer Park, as a feature of the broad Marselisborg Forests. Simply west and north of the Palace is Aarhus Racecourse and the Atletion Stadium.
Outlined by modeler Hack Kampmann, Marselisborg Palace was worked in 1899-1902 on the place that is known for the old Marselisborg Manor and was introduced as a blessing from the general population of Denmark to the Royal family, on the event of the wedding of sovereign Christian and Alexandrine of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. The couple later moved toward becoming ruler Christian X and ruler Alexandrine and started the convention of utilizing the Palace as a mid year habitation. The royal residence is the property of the Kingdom of Denmark, and will stay possessing all future rulers of Denmark.
