About Bornholm Butterfly Park
Bornholm Butterfly Park is located on the western outskirts of Nexo on the Danish island of Bornholm. Over a thousand brightly colored butterflies from around the world may be seen in a massive former hothouse even as wild Danish species abound in the flowery lawn. The butterfly park was based in 1997 in a former nursery lawn. Visitors can enjoy the various one of a kind species in herbal environment. Mating can also be visible in addition to the improvement of eggs into caterpillars and chrysalises. In the butterfly residence there also are quails which put off ants and snails. Japanese carp swim in the tropical lake even as parrots and parakeets fly round or perch within the treetops.
Species of butterfly consist of the Heliconius, Attacus atlas, Greta oto, Morpho peleides, Danaus plexippus, Idea leuconoe, Papilio, Phoebis philea and Caligo eurilochus. There is also a beautifully arranged lawn with lakes, waterfalls, vegetation and plant life. Wild Danish butterflies may be seen outside within the garden, attracted via the plants and their nectar. They consist of the pink admiral, orange tip, small tortoiseshell, and painted woman.
