Ballerup

Ballerup is a district of Ballerup Municipality in Greater Copenhagen with 39,442 inhabitants, positioned within the Capital Region of Zealand on Zealand. The district is placed 16 kilometers northwest of Copenhagen metropolis middle, east of Smorumnedre and west of Herlev. The whole municipality has 48,211 inhabitants. In 1682 Ballerup village consisted of thirteen farms, five houses with land and 13 homes without land. The total cultivated area accounted for 856.7 barrels of land owed to 205.30 barrels of resin grains.
