Meet and assist by our representative at the Guwahati airport. Guwahati is a sprawling city beside the Brahmaputra River in the northeast Indian state of Assam. Proceed for Shillong, also called ’Scotland of the East (270 kms 7 hrs). En-route we see Umiam Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening visit the markets in the Mall, Back to the hotel.

After breakfast at 07:30 A.M drive to Cherrapunjee (65 kms 2½ hrs), the wettest place in the world. The beautiful waterfall-Nohkalikai is at Cherrapunjee. You can also explore some of the caves in and around Cherrapunjee. Evening return to Shillong, en-route visit Elephant falls and Shillong peak for some breath-taking views. Stay overnight at your hotel in Shillong.

After breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong, a picturesque village located in East Khasi Hills along the India-Bangladesh border. As the cleanest village in Asia by Discover India magazine in 2003, the modestly existing Mawlynnong has alternatively been known as Gods own garden too. Go for a short trek of the village and see the Khasi way of life and meet the locals. You will then visit Dawki and river Umngot, with pictures of crystal clear waters popular in the social media. Drive back to Shillong. Overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out from hotel & drive to Guwahati. En-route visit sightseeing. Check in & freshen up. Afternoon visit Regional Science Centre and Sukreswar Temple (The 6th Jyotirlingas of Shiva). On reached Guwahati, transfer to hotel, check in and overnight stay.

After breakfast visit Kamakhya temple, Navagraha temple, Umananda temple, Balaji Temple, state Zoo. Evening River cruise over the river Brahmaputra. Overnight in Guwahati. (optional)

After breakfast, leave Guwahati then drop to airport for onwards journey.
