Gulmarg is at a travel distance of 40 Km from the Srinagar city which is to be covered in an hour. We could halt at Tangmarg for a cup of coffee and relax our muscles. We will check in to the hotel and freshen up for mesmerizing visuals of Gulmarg aptly called as winter paradise. The major locations to be covered are Golf Club, Strawberry Valley, Nageen Valley and Maharaja Palace. It is a shame if we come to Gulmarg and don/’t enjoy the highest cable rope car in the world famously known as Gondola. It can take you up to the height of 16, 000 ft. above sea level and will mesmerise you will the glaciers of Khilanmerg and Afarwat. A word of caution, it is cold there so brace yourself with warm clothes and accessories. If you have a nick for winter sports then you could buckle up yourself for snow skiing, sledging, snow bikes and ATV bikes. Walk back to your hotel, Appease your hunger with international cuisine and retire to your bed for a night stay

Start your day with heavy breakfast as you will be proceeding towards Pahalgham which is known for valleys and Bollywood movies. The journey will take around 2 hours and you should visit famous Awantipora Ruins and Saffron fields on the way. Awantipora ruins are known for being ancient Hindu temples during the reign of King Avantiman who ruled during AD 855-833. If you are in Pahalgham and have not visited the Baisaran valley famously called as Mini Switzerland then you have seen nothing. A word of caution though, you will have to use ponnies to ride to Baisaran valley as no vehicle is allowed to go there. Also the route remains closed during adverse weather conditions. You should not miss the Aru Valley, Chandanwari valley and Betaab valley. They are all famous for being the site for Bollywood movies. If you have a taste for adventure rides then a visit to Pahalgham club, Children/’ Park and Zoo is a must. Enjoy your evening on the bank of river lidder and calm your nerves with the soothing sound of flowing water. Drive back to your hotel for dinner and night stay.

Start you day with fresh memories of Pahalgham and proceed towards Srinagar aptly called as city of gardens. The drive back should be of 2 hour so relax and enjoy the scenic view of the journey. A trip to Srinagar without visiting Mughal gardens is incomplete. Mesmerize yourself with the Mughal Gardens of Emperor Shahjahan which include Shalimar Garden, Nishat Garden and Cheshmashahi Garden. For those who are devotee of Lord Shiva, a visit to the Shankar Achariya Temple is a must. It is stragically located on top of a hill. Get the spiritual vibes from 2500 year old temple and simultaneously muse your eyes with the beautiful whole Dal lake view. On the way you could also visit the famous Parimahal known primarily for being the musical court of Mughal King Shah Jahan. If you are in Nigeen and have not seen the Hazratbal Mosque then you have missed a major site of attraction both spiritually and by virtue of nature. This mosque is famous for its picturesque view and holding the distinction of the presence of Holy relic believed to be the strands of hair of Prophet Muhammad/’s beard. Retire back to the houseboat for dinner and night stay.
