It has now grown into a popular elephant attraction in the country and with good reason, for no where else except at Pageants (processions) are you likely to see so many elephants at close quarters. The elephants are controlled by their mahouts (keepers) who ensure they are fed at the right times and don’t endanger anyone but otherwise the elephants roam freely around the sanctuary area. There are many elephants in residence from babies to young adults. Among the attractions, you will be able to witness elephants being lead to a nearby river for bathing. You could also see the feeding of the baby elephants which is the highlight of the visit.

After breakfast visit Temple of tooth and do the city tour interesting places. You will also see the beautiful manmade Kandy Lake which is located close to the Temple.Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha (Sri Dalada Maligawa), which houses the most important Relic of the Buddhists in Sri Lanka. A gold canopy was erected some years ago over the roof of the shrine room where it is place.

After Breakfast transfer to Botanical Gardens in Hakgala garden. Visit the Seeta Kovil Nuwara Eliya. "Seeta Kovil" (Hanuman Kovil) is found on the Nuwara Eliya to Badulla road is located "Seetha Eliya". The folklore about this area is related to the Ramayana in Hinduism. Folklore says that the mighty king Ravana kidnapped princess Seetha who was the queen of Rama and hid her in this place where the temple is now built.

After breakfast transfer to the airport for departure.
