Thekkady is well known for the Periyar National Park and the elephants are the major attractions here.Than proceeds to Thekkaddy Sightseeing destinations include Periyar wild life sanctuary where you can see wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more, mullaperiyar dam (you can watch all these only while doing boating in the Lake) You can watch martial arts, kathakali, elephant ride, elephant bath, tribal dance, musical fountain and can go for ayurveda massages (all are optional activities with separate entrance fees). Day 05: ALLEPPEY COCHIN DEPARTURE After breakfast disembark from the houseboat and drive to Cochin, Cochin is also known as the queen of the Arabian Sea. Cochin is the most interesting town in South India at Malabar Coast and also known as Venice of South. On arrival Cochin visit St. Francis church, the oldest European church in India, where the famous sailor Vasco da Gama was buried and Museum, Fort and Chinese fishing Net.
