Pashupatinath Temple - Boudhanath Stupa - Kathmandu
Our staff with your name plate will be waiting for you in the airport. After check in at the hotel in Kathmandu we transfer you to Pasupatinath and Boudhanath, two world heritage sites in Kathmandu city among the 7. Your first sight of Kathmandu might not be very pleasant because of the long queue in the airport for visa as most of the people get visa on arrival we advise our guest to get visa from their home country. Pasupatinath Temple - Pashupatinath is the biggest shrine of Lord Shiva in Nepal and is the most scared temple for Hindus all over the world. The present structure is not very old but the site of Pasupatinath has been holy since last 2000 years. The cremation site beside the temple is a unique site for visitors as you see the burning of the dead bodies is interesting but not a pleasant site. The holy men with all kinds of makeup and ashes all over the bodies are also central attraction besides the Pasupatinath temple and the Holy River Bagmati. Boudhanath Stupa - Boudhanath Stupa is also known as the Little Tibet in Kathmandu as more than 50 thousand Tibetan refugees took refuge in Boudhanath area after the Chinese invasion of Tibet in 1949. This is a spiritual place with the two eyes of Buddha conveying the message of peace to you. Make sure you go through the Thanka painting galleries around the area to better understand the concept of Tibetan Buddhism and its practices.
