Today after breakfast proceed for a day excursion to Dambulla and Sigiriya. Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress a “UNESCO World Heritage Site” and the 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky” which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the Island. After lunch proceed to visit Dambulla Cave Temple, largest and best preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. Depictions on the walls of the caves include the temptation by the demon Mara and Buddha’s first sermon. Overnight stay in Kandy. (B & D)

After breakfast you would be transferred to Bentota Dalada Maligawa – Temple of Tooth, enroute visit the Spice Garden and Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, which was started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. The best time to visit is the feeding time from 0930-1000 hrs and 1330-1400 hrs and the bathing time from 1000-1230 hrs and 1400-1600 hrs when all the elephants are taken to the river close by. Later proceed to Bentota , on arrival evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Bentota. (B & D)

After brekafast proceed for a day excursion to Galle. It was a major port until about 100 years, but today still handles shipping and sailing boats in the natural harbor. On arrival do the city tour with Maritime Museum & Dutch Museum. Stroll around the lighthouse and harbour or visit the old town where you can see the traditional lace makers and wood carvers and purchase some the finest souvenirs. Later you have the option to enjoy water sports (on your own). Later proceed to Bentota for dinner. Overnight stay in Bentota. (B & D)

After breakfast you would be transferred to Colombo. Enroute visit Madu River, one of the rarely visited and unspoiled attractions on Sri Lanka. Later visit the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project (KSTCP) The main aim of the project is to monitor local sea turtle activity and conserve the local nesting sites. One of the most important activities of the project is its hatchery. Later proceed to Colombo and in the evening enjoy Colombo’s night life on your own. Overnight stay in Colombo. (B & D)

A drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as Old Galle Buck Lighthouse, Old Colombo Dutch Hospital, World Trade Centre,etc… Later the evening is free at leisure or do some last minute shopping.
