While on this 3 hours long scenic drive you can make a stop at Barapani lake or Umiam lake. Upon reaching Shillong, check into the hotel and freshen up. Later, head for an excursion to Lady Hydari Park and Saint Catholic Cathedral. Stroll around the Wards Lake, British Era buildings or just explore the locals at your own pace. Once you are done, come back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Stop at Mawsmai Cave and Awrah Cave for an exhilarating caving excursion. While returning back to Shillong, pay a visit to Elephant Falls and Shillong View Point, then come back to Shillong City for an overnight repose.

Begin the third day of your Shillong tour with a hearty breakfast at the hotel and get ready to make a trip to Kamakhya Devi Temple.
