Today enjoy a city tour of Delhi. Visit the famous- Jama Masjid- largest mosque in India built by Shaha Jahan. Take a tour of the mosque and familiarize yourself with the history of the place by our guide. Drive past some of the city’s cultural landmarks like Chandni Chowk Bazaar and Khari Baoli spice market on your way to visit the famous Red Fort. Proceed further to UNESCO World Heritage- Qutub Minar, India’s tallest minaret, made of red sandstone and marble and inscribed with verses from the Quran. After breakfast, check-out from the Hotel and continue your journey to another historical and romantic city of Agra en-route visit Sikandara – the mausoleum of Emperor Akbar, situated on the out skirts of the Agra City. It houses the mortal remains of the Mughal Emperor Akbar, who, during his lifetime itself had completed the tomb and laid out a beautiful garden. After lunch and check-in at your hotel, enjoy more afternoon sightseeing with your local guide and head to Agra Fort, built in 16th century by Emperor Akbar on the banks of the Yamuna River from red sandstone and its intricate design of both Islamic and Hindu architectural style. After breakfast visit the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Constructed by Shah Jahan as a memorial to his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, the domed mausoleum – built from white marble and considered one of the most profligate monument ever built for love.
