Upon arrival in Mumbai, drive towards Mahabaleshwar that lies in the district of Satara in Maharashtra. In the evening, head to the mesmerising Venna Lake, an artificial one, that was constructed in 1842 by Shri Appasaheb Maharaj. Surrounded by trees on all sides, this lake is an ideal place to spend some time in peace. There is also provision of boat rides and horse riding at this location.
