Drive past the Red Fort, Later visit the Jama Masjid, the greatest mosque in India and completed in 1658 by Shah Jahan who also built the Taj Mahal, and the Raj Ghat, the simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Lotus Temple, and Akshardham.

Today, check out from hotel, and depart by road for Agra, which is an interesting 4 hours drive covering a distance of 203kms. On your arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Agra Fort, the Mini Taj, Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays) built in 1630 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his deceased wife Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. En route stop at Fatehpur Sikri, which is only 38kms (45 min. drive) from Agra. Spend an hour in this deserted capital which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned 15 years later due to a severe scarcity of water. This fort-palace was begun by Raja Man Singh and used by the Rajputs as their stronghold until Sawai Jai Singh II moved to the newly created Jaipur. You will visit the palace and its many intricate chambers and hallways, which has breathtaking views of the Jal Mahal (Water Palace) below. Elephant taxis will be reserved for you for a memorable ride upto the fort.
