Early in the morning, proceed for an elephant safari from 5.30 AM to 6.30 AM in the western range of the national park. Post breakfast in the morning hit the road to Cherrapunjee, the wettest place on Earth. Visit Noh-ka-Likai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Don Bosco Shrine, Wah Kaba Falls, Kynrem Falls, Arwah Cave and other caves in and around Cherrapunjee. To reach the Mawsmai Cave there is a short hike that will take you through some stunning views of the valley. You can see the fossils of some of the pre-historic creatures. Noh-ka-Likai waterfalls plunge from some 335 meters from a cliff. It is the fourth highest waterfall in the world. The mesmerizing beauty of the Cherrapunjee will leave you spellbound. Later, return to Shillong. En-route visit Elephant Falls & Shillong Peak. Elephant Waterfalls also known as the ’Three-Step Waterfalls’ offers an enthralling view. After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia. Visit Jingmaham Living Root Bridge, Mawlynong Village, and waterfalls. After that, you will leave for Shillong.
