Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. Upon your arrival in the airport, our guide is waiting for you at the airport exit. On the way to the hotel, our guide will give you a brief introduction about the private journey and will also offer you some useful information about the city. The distance from the airport to hotel is about 7 kilometers and will take about 15 minutes. After you check in at the hotel, if time permits, the guide will show you the first two sites here, the Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath. The Kathmandu Durbar Square was built in 17-18 centuries as the formal palace and residence of the Nepal Royal families. The construction is a mixture of the eastern and western styles with an unbelievable 50 temples lying within the vicinity including the temple of the titular deity, Taleju Bhawani. Swoyambhunath is the symbol of Kathmandu, which got its name for worshiping lots of monkeys who are believed to be like gods. The Swoyambhunath in the sunset has boundless beauty, so many lovers will bill and coo in such charming place. When the evening comes, the platform is full of people enjoying the night view with the sea of lights. On a fine weather day in winter, the afar Snow Mountains and the sparked light in Kathmandu naturally display a stirring picture.
