9 Days 8 Nights Siliguri to Lachen Family Holiday Package

After being received at IXB/NJP/Siliguri, proceed to Gangtok 5, 410 ft which is 120 km away and takes 4. 5 hours approximately. After reaching Gangtok, check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay.

After early breakfast, start for a full day excursion to Tsomgo lake 12, 400ft and New Baba Mandir 13, 200ft. Please carry 3 passport size photos and photocopies of any valid Govt Photo ID proof of all travellers. School IDs/Birth certificate required for children. Please note Nathula pass Indo Chinese border situated at 14, 500 ft. is an optional sightseeing point, which is not a part of this package. Special Permit is required for Nathula, is done on extra cost paid directly on the spot and is totally dependent in the issuance of permit by the Sikkim tourism Dept.   It is closed for visitors on Mondays and Tuesdays There will be extra charges too. Permits may be granted in clubbing basis. Note – Alternative sightseeing provided incase of Tsomgo lake permit not issued due to natural calamity or political disorder.

After breakfast pick up from hotel & drive to Lachen 8, 838 ft. /120 km/6 Hours approximately. Stop for tea in between. Arrive at Lachen by evening. Overnight stay. Note: 2 passport size photos and photocopies of any Govt. Photo ID Proof required for permits. For children, you can carry school IDs/Birth Certificate.

Early Morning drive from Lachen to Gurudongmar Lake 17, 100 ft. /3 hours drive. Return back to hotel for lunch & drive to Lachung 8, 910 ft /2 hours drive Arrive Lachung by evening. Overnight stay. Note – We strongly recommend you to consult your doctor for visiting these places as these are very high altitude regions and not suitable for everybody.

Early Morning, drive to Yumthang Valley 11, 800 ft. Known as Valley of Flowers. Return back to the hotel for lunch and transfer to Gangtok and overnight stay. Zero point Yumesamdong 16, 000 ft is not included in the package and is directly payable on the spot, if done. Go for Gangtok half day sightseeing covering Chorten Stupa, Institute of Tibetology, Handicraft, Flower Show, Enchey Monastery. After half day sightseeying proceed Darjeeling 110kms/ 4hrs drive/ 6730 ft approx. Check in at the hotel. Evening free to roam around the Mall Road . Overnight stay.

Wake up early in the morning 3:30am to witness the sunrise from Tiger Hill 2, 590 meters/13 KM/45 min. On the way back, visit the famous Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop. Proceed for half day city tour around Darjeeling covering The Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, P. N. Zoological Park Thursday closed, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute Thursday closed, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre Sunday closed, outer view of Tea Garden Chitrey and Tenzing Rock.

After breakfast drive to Mirik 4, 900 ft. , via Indo-Nepal Border Extra vehicle charges will be applicable for Nepal Border to Pasupati Market. The drive is through scenic roads with occasional stoppage for photography. Mirik is known for man made Sumendu Lake in center surrounded by pine trees and its landscaped tea gardens and orange orchards. Return to Darjeeling in the evening and overnight stay.

Proceed from Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport IXB/NJP Railway Station/Siliguri for onward journey 70 KM drive/3 Hours approx.
