Drive to Indo-Nepal border town of MANNEYBHANJAN, 2134m/7, 000ft-20km away. You would be starting your 1500m climb to your first day’s destination Tongloo 9500ft, 12. 5km away, going along the TONGLU Ridge. The 7 hrs trek is covered as follows: ? Maney Bhanjyang. 2134m- Chitre. 2800m: Very steep 02 Kms in 02hrs; You get beautiful panoramic views of Darjeeling and Siliguri; ? Chitre - Meghma, 2900m: Easy undulating 06 Kms in 03 hrs; ? Meghma to Tongloo Top, 3070 m: Easy undulating 03 Kms in 1. 30 hrs; Trek Maney Bhanjyang to Tongloo. Altitude: Maney Bhanjyang: 1981 m. Tongloo: 3078 m. Distance: Maney Bhanjyang to Tongloo-12. 5 Km, 7hrs trek

During its first two hours or so, after an easy down hill trek you come to JAUBARI 2750m 4km away, followed by another easy downhill trek of 5km to a little resting place in GARIBAS 2620m/ before you start the fairly steep 6 km trek of 4 hrs or so to Kali Pokhri, 2950m/9679 feet. After the first thirty minutes of brisk walk, through thick deciduous forests, you find a tea shop at Kayakata, on the Nepal Side of the Road. The route continues uphill to KALAPOKHRI, where they have a black water lake Pokhri, which does NOT freeze even in winter! • Tongloo 3078m- Jaubari 2750m: easy 4km down hill trek; 1hr, 30mins • Jaubari 2750m-Garibas 2620m: easy 5km down hill trek; 2hrs • Garibas 2620 – Kali Pokhri 2950m: fairly steep 6 km trek of 4 hrs

You will not like to miss out on the panoramic view of the snow peaks from Sandakphu, which is best seen early in the morning. An early start from here will give you a chance to view the snow peaks twice, once as soon as you reach Sandakphu and again next morning before you start your return or onward trek. We will wake you up at 4:30 am to catch the early morning 360 Degree views of the Everest and the Kanchendzonga Range from the view Point at Sandakphu-return back to the Lodge for Breakfast. After breakfast we start the trek. Today’s Trek to Phalut is longer & is fairly easy through meadows until we reach Sabargram 14 Km. away where we will have to check in with the Singalila National Park authority and as well stop for lunch. We will be carrying packed lunch because of birth of Tea Houses on this Stretch of the road. Altitude: Phalut: 3460m / 11, 700 ft. Distance: Sandakphu to Molley-16 Km/5-6 Hours.

The Day starts with an uphill Trek to Phalut 7Km and to the Phalut Top on the Nepal side for the Breath taking views of the Everest & Kanchendzonga Range and the Singalila Ridge. Return to Phalut Lodge for Breakfast & Trek to Gorkhay15Km. Trek from Phalut to Gorkhay is through undulating down hill mountain path through thick bamboo groves, Oak and walnut forest till Gorkhay a small agricultural Village comprising of about Fifteen House Hold, where we stop for lunch and as well for the night in a lodge run by a local lepcha Family. Altitude: Gorkhay : 2390 m Distance: Molley to Phalut -7Km. Phalut to Gorkhay-15 Km Trekking Time: 6-7 Hours Overnight: Lodge. Lunch at Gorkhay

Trek Gorkhay to Timburey. Overnight Timburey Home Stay. Gentle Trek of 10Km through forests and small mountain side villages to Timburey.

Trek through thick evergreen Forest of Magnilia, Oak and Birch Forest to Rimbik. Drive to Darjeeling. Overnight Hotel B/B only.

Drive to Bagdogra Airport for Final Departure to your Home country. End of the Darjeeling Singalila Ridge Trek.
