Day 1

Pookote Lake, Lakkidi View Point, Banasura Sagar Dam

Pick up From Kalpetta town at morning and checking to hotel/homestay after fresh and breakfast Sightseeing to Banasura sagar Dam It is the largest earthen dam in India and the second largest in Asia and an ideal starting point for hikes into the surrounding scenic mountains. Next moving to Pookote Lake - Which is a natural fresh water lake nestling amid evergreen forests and mountain slopes at an altitude of 770 meters above sea level.Evening visit to Lakkidi View Point - it is the gateway of Wayanad as it is located at the crest of the serpentine Thamarassery ghat pass. There are nine hairpin curves. After sightseeing by evening proceed to hotel overnight dinner and stay at hotel/homestay.
