Day 1

Pookote Lake, Lakkidi View Point, Banasura Sagar Dam

Early morning pickup from Kalpetta and check-in to hotel/homestay, after fresh up and breakfast sightseeing to - Pookote Lake - Which is a natural fresh water lake nestling amid evergreen forests and mountain slopes at an altitude of 770 meters above sea level. Then visit to Lakkidi View Point - it is the gateway of Wayanad as it is located at the crest of the serpentine Thamarassery ghat pass. There are nine hairpin curves - Banasura sagar Dam It is the largest earthen dam in India and the second largest in Asia and an ideal starting point for hikes into the surrounding scenic mountains After sightseeing proceed back to hotel/homestay, dinner and overnight stay.
