Our representative will receive you at NJP. On arriving in Gangtok, head to the hotel and complete the check-in formalities. Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, is known for adventure, tranquil monasteries, mystic rituals and festivals. It is situated at a height of 1,670 metres and is one of the most visited destinations in India. In the evening, you can amble along the popular M G Road (Mall), before you retreat to your hotel for the night.

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast in the hotel and then head for a delightful excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. You will travel for about 40 kilometres (2 hours) to reach the lake. Tsomgo Lake is situated at an elevation of 12,313 feet and the surface of the lake reflects different colours with changing seasons. You will also visit Baba Mandir, a holy site situated close by. After this, travel back to Gangtok and rest the night away.

Transfer to Lachen
On this day, enjoy an early morning breakfast. Get set to travel a distance of 135 kilometres, for about 5 to 6 hours. Relish a delicious lunch at Chungthang. You will reach Lachen late afternoon or early evening. Major attractions here include snow-covered mountain peaks, Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary, Gurudongmar Lake, Chopta Valley and Thangu. On arrival, check in at the hotel. In the evening, visit the paradisiacal Lepcha village. It offers stunning views of snowy peaks and terraced green valleys. Then have a relaxed overnight stay at the hotel in Lachen.

Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake - Lachung
After a sumptuous breakfast, proceed to the beautiful Gurudongmar Lake (66 km, approx. 3 hours drive), one of the highest lakes in the world situated at an altitude of 17,800 ft. The lake is filled with snow from December to April or even more and was blessed by Guru Nanak in the 15th century. Drive through the cold desert till Tibet China and get back to your hotel for lunch. After lunch, you will drive to Lachung. Situated at 9,600 feet and at the meeting point of Lachung and Lachen Rivers, this town is a beautiful spot for nature-lovers. Check in at the hotel in Lachung and spend the evening at Lachung Monastery. The monastery offers picturesque views of the surroundings and makes a peaceful site for spiritual seekers. Have a good overnight stay in Lachung.

Lachung Sightseeing - Gangtok
Have a good breakfast and drive towards Yumthang on this day. Situated at 11,800 feet, Yumthang is a picturesque location filled with greenery. It is also known as the /’Valley of Flowers/’ and is home to the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary (optional visit to the Zero Point at an extra cost). En-route, you may also visit the famous hot spring known for its skin- disease-curing properties. After a visit to this ethereal beauty, you will return to the hotel in Lachung for lunch. Reach Gangtok in the evening and have a pleasant stay. Overnight at Gangtok.

Transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) Bagdogra for your journey back home
