Near the Waterfront, you enjoy the beaches and shop at the local market and try out the eateries to get a taste of the regional cuisines. South Island is known for its now dormant volcano Trou Aux Cerfs volcano with a 350-meter deep crater. Next place to visit is the Grand Bassin or the Ganga Talao, a crater lake surrounded by various temples dedicated to several Hindu deities. The next stop is the Chamarel Falls which is famous for its natural beauty. This is followed by a visit to the Curepipe city where you can shop for souvenirs and try out the delicious food at the local food joints. This ends day 5 of your holiday, and you can have a restful night after a flavorsome dinner at the hotel.
