On arrival at Guwahati airport driver will pick you up and proceed to Maa Kamakhya Temple: • Kamakhya Temple - The Kamakhya Temple also Kamrup-Kamakhya is a Hindu temple dedicated to the mother goddess. It is one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas. Situated on the Nilachal Hill in western part of Guwahati city in Assam, India, it is the main temple in a complex of individual temples dedicated to the ten Mahavidyas. Among these, Tripurasundari, Matangi and Kamala reside inside the main temple whereas the other seven reside in individual temples. It is an important pilgrimage destination for General Hindu and especially for Tantric worshipers. After that proceed to SHILLONG- The capital of the state of Meghalaya and home to the Khasi tribe. Shillong has rightly earned the sobriquet of "Scotland of the East" owing to the rolling hills, beautiful scenery and climate. On the way to Shillong you will visit the beautiful Umiam Lake, a major tourist attraction where you can have lunch also, it is located just before entering to Shillong. Reach hotel and check in, after some leisure you can also visit local market to enjoy the local cuisines and night life of the city. Later in the evening have your dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Shillong.
