You will be picked up from the Airport and taken to your Hotel where you will rest for the night ready for the safari in early in the morning

After an early breakfast, you will leave Arusha for the most famous Serengeti National Park in the world. The drive itself, although long, is wonderful. Drive into the highlands of the crater and you will quickly stop at the rim to discover a panoramic view of the Ngorongoro Crater. It is an unforgettable moment for anyone who sees it for the first time. As you drive through the Serengeti, you will discover why the name means endless plains in the local language. The park covers an area of ??18,000 square kilometers and most of it the plains stretch to the horizon, defying your senses and perception of distances. It is home to a large migration and 2 million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes, including abundant Impalas and Thomson gazelles. When it comes to big cats and carnivores, this is a good place to see lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas.

On this day we recommend getting up early for an early morning game drive (when the animals are most active) and to see one of the best sunrises you will ever experience. After the game, we will return to the camp to have a delicious lunch and then continue to Ngorongoro, the 8th natural wonder of the world. The crater covers 102 square kilometers and has 2,000 foot walls, making it effectively Noah’s Ark and home to nearly every species of East African wildlife. This is one of the very rare places on the whole continent where you can see black rhinos. The concentration of African fauna is the largest on the continent. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a large concentration of flamingos, forest and open plains. It is also famous for its elephants, which are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. This is due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its plants.

We start the day very early and descend to the crater floor for an incredible morning with wildlife in one of the most amazing places on earth. After the game drive, it’s time for lunch at the beautiful Hippo Lake. After lunch we have time for a short game drive and then climb the crater and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha. We expect to arrive back in Arusha around 5:00pm, although we are flexible if there is a flight delay or any other circumstances.
