Kullu & Manali is a wonderful hill station in Himachal Pradesh and from here; one will find the splendid beauty of river Beas. The valley of Kullu is broad and open. This valley has the exotic hills covered by the pine and deodar forests. The rocky ridges and the magnificent apple orchards of this place attract. Eat some juicy apples of the region. The tongue will become sweet. Kullu is a valley that lies between Pir Panjal and the Himalayan ranges. The earlier name of Kullu is Kulantipitha. This is the culmination of the habitable world. Kullu is also called the Silver valley of Himalayas. Apart from the natural beauty of Kullu, one can find the heritage structures in this region. The elevation of Kullu above the sea level is 1220 meters and from here, one has the opportunity to go to another wonderful place called Manali. The temple of Bijli Mahadev is an exceptional temple of beauty. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple is at an altitude of two thousand four hundred and thirty eight meters. To reach this temple, one has to go for trekking of 3 km. From this temple, one finds the panoramic view of Parvati and Kullu valleys. It is said that the lightening falls on the Shiv lingam and shatters it into pieces. This is a form of divine blessing. After visiting all these places we will do night stay in hotel at manali.

Hadimba Temple Situated atop a hillock the Hidimba Devi Temple is surrounded by thick deodar forests and was built in 1553. The temple is dedicated to the Rakshasa Hidimba who was also the wife of the Pandava Bhima. The temple structure is built in a distinctive architectural style that somewhat crosses Indian architecture with the one employed in the Buddhist monasteries. The structure is made primarily of wood and 70 meters from the temple also lays the temple dedicated to Ghatotkacha, the son of Bhima and Hidimba and a hero of the Mahabharatha war. Vashist Hot Water Springs The place lies at a distance of 4-5 kilometers from Manali and is situated across the Beas River. The village of Vashist is famous for its sulphurous Hot Water Springs and is a popular attraction among tourist and pilgrims. The springs can also be enjoyed in privacy at the Turkish-styles bath houses which are available here. The village is also famous for its stone temples which are dedicated to a local saint Vashishta. Manu Temple Manali is named after the sage Manu who was the creator of human race on the earth and it is believed that he meditated here. This is supposed to be the only temple of Manu in India. Manu Temple is located at old Manali, approx 3 kms from the Mall Road. The temple is dedicated to the Indian sage Manu, who is said to be the creator of the world and the writer of Manusmriti. Though temple is situated in a congested area, visitors from across the world comes to see it. The beautiful location of Manu Temple, on the bank side of river Beas, adds to its attraction. The temple was rebuilt in the year 1992, when the vaulted ceiling and marble floors were added. Along with Rohtang Pass and Hadimba temple, Manu Temple is also one of the primary Manali tourist attractions. It is believed to be the place where sage Manu meditated after stepping on earth. Manali has a distinct historical background that is appealing to most people who visit the pilgrim spot. According to Hindu mythology, Manu sage is the divine creator of the human race in the world. It was in this region that the sage dwelt and meditated. Whenever you visit Manali, make sure to see the temple too.

Solang valley is also known as the ‘Snow Point‘ and is famous for hosting various winter adventure sports like skiing, parachuting and paragliding etc. The Solang Valley is located at an average altitude of 2,560 meters above sea level and is also one of the favorite trekking hotspots in the region. The views from the point are magnificent and give views to snow capped peaks and glaciers.
