On your arrival in Srinagar, our tour representative will meet you at the Srinagar Airport and pick you up for your onward journey. You will have an assisted transfer to the houseboat. On the 2nd day of the Kashmir tour, after having a toothsome breakfast, proceed to visit Gulmarg. Nestled in the foothills of Pir Panjal Range in the Western Himalayas, Gulmarg is popularly known as one of the best skiing destinations in the world. This is a two-stage ropeway cable car with which you can visit Kongdoori Mountain, nearby Apharwat Peak, which is located at 4,390 m above sea level. There is a golf course here which is the highest golf course in the world with 18 holes where you can enjoy golfing as well. Later, continue your journey towards Pahalgam, which attracts a large number of tourists throughout the year owing to its jaw-dropping locales. On arrival, explore the popular tourist attractions of Pahalgam and you can also indulge in adventure activities here including horse riding and river rafting. You can also enjoy shopping for some amazing local items from the market of Pahalgam. After exploring the breathtaking beauty of Pahalgam, start your journey towards Srinagar and en-route visit the Awantipura ruins. The remnants of two Hindu temples were commissioned by King Avanti Varman who ruled the region during the 9th century. These two temples were dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. Soak in the serene aura of the tranquil environs. The next attraction is Anantnag Sulphur Springs, which are believed to comprise some medicinal properties. You can take a bath in the hot springs.
