You should definitely ask him to take you to Char Chinar and Kabootar ghar which lie in the centre of Dal lake as a small Island. A trip to Srinagar without visiting Mughal gardens is incomplete. Mesmerize yourself with the Mughal Gardens of Emperor Shahjahan which include Shalimar Garden, Nishat Garden and Cheshmashahi Garden. For those who are devotee of Lord Shiva, a visit to the Shankar Achariya Temple is a must. It is stragically located on top of a hill. It is a shame if we come to Gulmarg and don/’t enjoy the highest cable rope car in the world famously known as Gondola. A word of caution, it is cold there so brace yourself with warm clothes and accessories. If you have a nick for winter sports then you could buckle up yourself for snow skiing, sledging, snow bikes and ATV bikes.
