Morning start. The drive then continues through graded tracks, stopping at Wadi Ghul, a fascinating village surrounded by lofty mountain ranges. The panoramic mountain drive brings visitors to Jabal Shams (Mountain of the Sun), the second highest peak in the Arab Gulf region, rising to over 2000 metres. The picturesque setting offers incredible views of the rugged landscape. A visit to the mountain village of Misfah offers a rewarding study of ancient architecture sen in stone houses. Enjoy picnic lunch en route before returning to Muscat.

One can visit Rubaiyat, a small coastal fishing village, and proceed on an off road trip via Wadi Al Ar been to Wadi Kiwi and Fins Beach. The drive on the graded track leads to Wadi Shab, one of Oman’s spectacular wadis, which flows with fresh water most of the year alongside banana plantations and rocky paths. Enjoy a picnic lunch in Wadi Saab before returning back to Muscat with some amazing photographs of the varied landscape of Oman.
