Later the tour will take you to stopover visits at Golghar, Patna Museum and Buddha Smriti Park. The British established the Patna Museum in the year 1917. This museum has more than 50,000 rare and valuable antiquities and art objects. The most prized possession here is the Holy Relic Casket containing the sacred ashes of the Buddha, unearthed in Vaishali. Golghar is a mammoth concrete granary built by the British, subsequent to the great famine of 1770. Two spiral staircases from either side lead to the top, which affords a panoramic view of the Ganga and the town patna. The tour also take you to Buddha smriti park which came up to commemorate the 2554th birth anniversary of the Lord Buddha. This park was inaugurated by His Holiness Dalai Lama.

Breakfast at the Hotel . Later drive to Rajgir . On this tour you will also visit a famous Budhhist site of Nalanda. Here you will visit the first university of India and centre of Buddhist education. This ancient city of Nalanda was the center of intellectual activity from the fifth century B.C. to the twelve century A.D. Also visit Hieun Tsang Memorial Hall, The remnants of Nalanda University, Nav Nalanda Vihar, Kundalpur (important destination for Jains, particularly for the Digambar sect of the Jains). Latter proceed for Rajgir where Lord Mahavira and Lord Buddha preached their sermons. Your overnight stay is arranged at a hotel in Rajgir.
