In morning after breakfast get ready for Explore the places of Wayanad. Visit Edakkal Caves - which can be reached by around 1 Hr. Uphill Trek from Edakkal. Inside the caves are stone age carvings believed to be dating to at least 5000 BC, indicating the presence of a prehistoric civilisation in this region. Visit Wayanad Heritage Museum the archaeological museum in Wayanad, which has one of Kerala/’s largest collections of the remnants of an era dating back to the 2nd century A.D. The exhibits here are evidences of an advanced civilisation that existed in the mountains of Wayanad. Visit Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary - Elephants roam freely here and tigers are sighted occasionally as well. Various species of deer, monkeys and birds also live here. The Reserve is also home to a profusion of birds, butterflies and insects. After sightseeing return to hotel. Overnight stay at Wayanad.
