07:00 am Departure Sahastradhara helipad, Dehradun 07:45 am Arrival Kharsalihelipad , Yamunotri After the breakfast, the tour initiates from Sahastradhara helipad, Dehradun which is the starting and concluding point of the Chardham Yatra. There would be a briefing from the ground staff about the Do’s and Don’ts that ought to be kept in mind while on the trip, followed by the departure to Barkot Helipad. Upon arrival at Kharsali The helipad for Yamunotri passengers are welcomed by ground staff, who will unload your baggage and carry them to your hotel Shiv Shakti Eco Resort which is 10 min walk from the helipad. You will then be carried by Palkis to Yamunotri Temple. This trek from helipad to temple is 5. 5 kms and return trip by Palki takes about 5. 5 hours. 07:45 am Departure Yamunotri helipad 08:30 am Arrival Harsil Helipad The day starts with an early morning departure to Barkot helipad, to then fly to Harsil Helipad, lying amidst the beautiful lush green valleys. Depending upon the time, breakfast would either be arranged at Barkot or Harshil. Harsil is one of the most beautiful and picturesque valleys in Uttarakhand. Some people also call it mini Switzerland. Gangotri temple is about 22 kms from Harsil helipad and the drive by car takes 50 minutes. The Himalayan Nature Resort for night stay is about 02 kms from the helipad. GangotriDham, the 18th century’s temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. It is advisable that passengers leave straight for temple from helipad. Our ground staff will assist the passengers with darshan at Gangotri temple. After return from temple passengers can take lunch in resort and thereafter relax and have campfire in the evening. It is recommended to visit the nearby village for a evening walk and buy pure wool stuff sweaters , shawls n muflers made by local tribal womenfolk.

The helicopter will land at Kedarnath helipad which is at a distance of 500 meters from the temple. The walk from helipad to temple takes about 20 minutes for a person. Since there is no night halt facility at Kedarnath, passengers are advised to take darshan quickly and return to helipad. Night halt will be at Guptkashi/Sitapur. Passengers can visit ancient Triyuginarayan temple in evening for sightseeing. Kedarnath is the most remote site among all Char Dhams in Uttarakhand. The Kedarnath temple, the holy shrine of Lord Shiva houses one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India.

10:15 am Departure Kedarnath / Guptkashi helipad 11:00 am Arrival Badrinath helipad After arrival at Badrinath helipad passengers can check-in in Hotel Saro Portico which is very close to the temple. Our ground staff will assist the passengers in taking darshan at the temple. A visit to Mana village in evening is highly recommended as this is the last village before international border with China. The holy temple of Lord Vishnu, known as Lord Badri is one of the divine 108 Divya Desams. The Special Abhishek Puja at Badrinath temple is the highlight of this entire yatra. It starts sharp at 4. 30 am in the morning and lasts for 2 hours. Passengers will get an opportunity to sit inside the temple and have darshan of the shringar of the deity from very close quarters.

11:30 am Departure Badrinath helipad 12:30 am Arrival Sahastradharahelipad , Dehradun The best has been saved for the last. The highlight of this Yatra is to witness the sacred “MahaAbhishek Pooja” which commences at 4:30 AM and continues for almost two hours. Special arrangements would be made for guests to sit inside the temple near the deity. Conclude the Yatra with your heart filled with gratitude and awe for all of God’s blessings. After breakfast, guests would depart towards Dehradun from the Badrinath helipad, followed by a drop to the Dehradun airport/railway station.
