Heart-warming Colombo Tour Package for 10 Days

You are met with traditional Sri Lankan hospitality at the airport, and then transported to Colombo City, where you will check-in to your hotel. Later in the evening you will enjoy a City Tour of Colombo being a mix of modern architecture and cultural essence.

After breakfast, you will drive to Jaffna, enroute you will visit Munneshwaram Temple in Chilaw. Following you will drive to Jaffna, Jaffna is the oldest habitation sites in Lower South Asia, populated by Tamil speaking people.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a City Tour of Jaffna. Following this you will visit Jaffna Nallur Kovil. The Nallur Kovil is about 1KM from the Jaffna town. There are some beautiful paintings and statues inside the Kovil and outside the temple on top of the entrance you can see some beautifully carved statues.

After breakfast, you will drive to Sigiriya. Along the way you could visit Anuradhapura, the first Ancient Capital of Sri Lanka, which has a wealth of ancient ruins and statues to be viewed.

After breakfast, you can attempt to make a leisurely climb up the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, which is a massive rock rising out of the otherwise flat plains. Following this you will visit the awe-inspiring ancient sites at Polonnaruwa, the most recently discovered ancient city in Sri Lanka.

After breakfast, you will be taken to Dambulla, home of the famous Dambulla Rock Cave Temple, with its marvelous Buddhist statues and frescoes dating back to our ancient times, all inside of an amazing cave.

After breakfast, a spectacular drive brings you to Nuwara Eliya. On the way to Nuwara Eliya you will visit the Hanuman Temple. Later you will visit the Seetha Amman Temple and Ashok Vatika. The temple is located in the village of Seetha Eliya.

After breakfast, you will take the train from Nanu Oya railway station. A spectacular journey around the mountains will bring to Ella Railway Station. Following this another spectacular drive down the mountains to Kataragama.

In the morning you will be taken on a jeep safari to Yala National Park. The reserve covers 979 km. There are good numbers of Asian Elephants, Crocodile, Wild Boar, Water Buffalo.

After breakfast, you may enjoy a river boat safari on the river and lagoon, The Madu River following which you will visit a Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda. Later on perhaps do some last minute souvenir shopping, as well as to bid goodbye to beautiful and exotic Sri Lanka, and it's wonderful people, scenery, and mystical ambiance.
