Velimirovac is a place in Osijek-Baranja County , a part of the metropolis of Nasica. By the time of the Second World War Velimirovac was mostly inhabited by the Germans . According to the 1910 census, Velimirovac had 797 population, of which 764 were Germans . Velimirovac was named after the Count Velimir Pejacevic , at the start it become referred to as Jelisavac for the wife of Count Velimir, Jelisaveti, but she did not allow it because she become very pious, and Velimirov had been inhabited by means of Protestants of German nationality.
