About Primoshten
Primosten is a metropolis in Croatia, and part of the Sibenik-Knin County. It is located inside the south, among the towns of Sibenik and Trogir, at the Adriatic coast. In the past, PrimoSten turned into situated on the islet near the mainland. During the Turkish invasions in 1542 the islet become covered by means of the partitions and towers and a draw bridge related it to the mainland. When the Turks retreated, the draw bridge was changed by using the causeway and in 1564 the settlement became named Primosten after the Croatian verb primostiti.
It is constructed on a hill and is dominated via the parish church of St. George which became constructed in 1485 and restored in 1760 near the local graveyard from which a completely unique view spreads to the sea and the surroundings. Primosten is well-known for its large and beautiful vineyards. A image of the vineyards of Primosten hung inside the UN center in New York. Apart from its vineyards, Primosten is also acknowledged for the traditional donkey race that takes area there each summer time. The biggest seaside in Primosten is referred to as Raduca, and its smaller part, Mala Raduca, is voted one of the 10 maximum beautiful seashores in Croatia.
