Ozalj

Ozalj is a city in principal Croatia, positioned north of Karlovac and southwest of Jastrebarsko, at the Kupa River. It is close to Žumberak inside the north and the border with Slovenia within the northwest, with Metlika being the closest Slovenian metropolis. The town was built on a cliff over the Kupa river and the first point out of it dates from 1244, as a free royal town. The Frankopan circle of relatives owned it due to the fact that 1398, then it passed to the Zrinski circle of relatives in 1550, and it stayed theirs until 1671.

The city commemorates 30 April as its day, in memory of the event in 1671 when Petar Zrinski and Fran Krsto Frankopan had been carried out. The customer saint of the metropolis is St. Vitus, whose banquet is celebrated on 15 June. Munjara is the old hydroelectric plant. This plant has 3 three.Five megawatt mills and was constructed among 1907 and 1908.
