About Museum of Modern Art
The Museum of Modern Art Dubrovnik was built up in 1945.The building now controlled by the Museum of Modern Art Dubrovnik was at first considered and collected 1935-1939 as the component private place of Dubrovnik transport proprietor Bozo Banac, and in 1948 it was changed over into show premises and display lobby. It was created by the exceptional Croatian designers Lavoslav Horvat and Harold Bilini in the neo-Renaissance-cum-Gothic style, along the lines of perfect works of art of Dubrovnik urban and house Renaissance building the Rector's Palace. Through the change works, nine show rooms were made, close by two store rooms and some humbler working zones. Together with the considerable yards looking on to the sea and its garden, the Museum has 900 square meters of indoor and in excess of 1100 square meters of outside introduction space.
