About Lotrscak Tower

Worked to protect the southern entryway of the Gradec town divider, the Lotršcak Tower dates to the thirteenth century and has for quite some time been one of Zagreb's most unmistakable points of interest. Legend has it that this expansive, square Romanesque pinnacle once held a ringer that rang out every night preceding the end of the entryways to caution inhabitants outside the dividers to return. In the nineteenth century, a fourth floor and windows were added to the pinnacle and a gun put on its rooftop, which has since been discharged each day at twelve.

Guests can climb the pinnacle for dazzling perspectives over the city and visit its display exhibition and blessing shops. Another vital medieval structure is the Stone Gate, the remainder of five unique city entryways. Worked in the thirteenth century, the building broadly survived a fire in 1731, as did its depiction of Mary and Jesus. To celebrate the critical relic, a church was worked to house the depiction.
