About Croatian Museum of Naive Art
The Croatian Museum of Naive Art is a fine artwork museum in Zagreb, Croatia dedicated to the work of naïve artists of the 20th century. The museum holdings include over 1,900 works of artwork - artwork, sculptures, drawings and prints, especially by means of Croatians but also by using different well known international artists inside the style.
From time to time, the museum organizes topics and retrospective exhibitions with the aid of naïve artists, expert conferences and educational workshops and playrooms. On 1 November 1952, the Peasant Art Gallery was founded in Zagreb. By 1956 it turned into called the Gallery of Primitive Art and changed into then part of the Zagreb Municipal Galleries these days the Museum of Contemporary Art, Zagreb.
