Tilaran

Tilaran is the eighth canton of the province of Guanacaste, within the north of Costa Rica. It is located in a mountainous place at the extreme west of the Sierra Minera de Tilaran, a segment of the Guanacaste Volcanic Mountain Range. The city of Tilaran is positioned just 5 km south of Lake Arenal at an altitude of 564 meters above sea stage and has a massive inflow of home and foreign tourists, as it's miles the exact factor in which the highways connecting the Daniel Oduber Airport converge. Liberia, Monteverde and the Arenal Volcano.

From this city, it's far possible to see the Miravalles and Tenorio volcanoes and some kilometers to the east you could also see the Arenal volcano.
