Museum of Guanacaste

The Museum of Guanacaste is made by official declaration No. 32531 C-in 2005, as a reliance of the General Directorate of Culture of Guanacaste. Like the historical backdrop of the National Museum, the Museum of Guanacaste is situated in the previous military quarters of the city of Liberia, a building that was the base camp of the Plaza, a reformatory focus and an accumulation of weapons.

The Museum was conceived with the target of advancing the cooperation of groups in the renewal of the Cultural and Natural Heritage of the territory, notwithstanding saving social signs and protests that add to the development of Guanacaste's history.
