Museo de los Ninos

The Museo de Los Ninos is a youngsters' historical center. The intriguing thing is that the historical center was first housed in what was once San Jose's old military jail called Central Penitentiary. The place Housed stories of ghastliness, wrongdoing, and viciousness for a long time. In 1979, this historical center was deserted for over 12 years.

On April 27, 1994, as an idea of the primary Lady of the Republic of Costa Rica, the Museo de Los Ninos the Children's Museum was opened. Presently this historical center is an astonishing spot for the children to play, learn, giggle, find and investigate. For the children as well as it is an intuitive fun affair for all the family.

In its 40 shows investigating space, this gallery comprises intuitive showcases teaching youngsters in different points from Astronomy and the regular planet and biology to science, and regular day to day existence in Costa Rica. For the children, this gallery has a fabulous time house with a tremor test system. In this exhibition hall, the children will discover a section that mirrors the life of the past occupants housed in that.
