About Barranquilla
Barranquilla is a city and district situated in northern Colombia. Barranquilla is situated close to the Caribbean Sea. The city is situated in the Atlantico Department, of which it is the capital. The city is home to a standout amongst the most critical society and social celebrations of Colombia, the Carnival of Barranquilla, which was proclaimed a National Cultural Heritage by the Congress of Colombia. Some creature species can be found in the city, for example, winged creatures like owls, wrens, and parrots; fish, for example, mullet in the swamps; creepy crawlies, for example, butterflies, flies, mosquitoes, gnats, cockroaches and termites; warm blooded creatures, for example, wild pooches and felines, monkeys, rodents and possums; reptiles, for example, iguanas, snakes and tortoises.
In some country territories steeds, jackasses, cows, pigs and goats are raised. Barranquilla's architecture was built almost entirely in the twentieth century. In the city there are structures of the frontier time frame in the early many years of the autonomous country, however the bounty of styles that prospered from the late nineteenth century give the city a cosmopolitan climate. This engineering wonder is demonstration of the impact of the general population landing in the port for a significant part of the nineteenth and twentieth hundreds of years from North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, a significant number of whom settled in Barranquilla and imported structural styles.
